Where To See Fireworks In Pensacola

Fourth of July will be here before you know it. You may have already planned your menu, invited family and friends, or even organized the days activities. If fireworks is not somewhere on that list, then you have missed the mark. Thankfully, it is not too late to make it happen. You can shoot your own fireworks at home, but that can always be a bit nerve-wracking. Enjoy the festivities with your friends and family members by going somewhere to watch fireworks. In Pensacola, there will be several places that are hosting firework displays. Here are a couple of places you can go with your loved ones to watch the fireworks for this Fourth of July.

Fireworks at Pensacola Beach

By the Santa Rosa Sound, you and your family can watch a brilliant firework display near the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. The show will begin at 8:30 that evening on July 4th. Enjoy a spectacular thirty minute firework show along Pensacola Beach this Independence Day. The City of Pensacola website says that the best places to watch the display is at the Portofino Boardwalk or Quietwater Beach.

Sertoma’s 4th of July Fireworks

If you would like to be in the heart of all the action that 4th of July night, then you may want to attend the Sertoma’s 4th of July Fireworks. This event will take place directly in the center of downtown Pensacola at 4:30 pm in Seville Square. There will be plenty of festivities like face painting and live entertainment to keep everyone engaged before the firework display.

If Seville Square is a little too crowded, then you can enjoy the same firework show at William Bartram Memorial Park. Whether you are watching at Seville Square or William Bartram Memorial Park, this show will begin at 9 o’clock that night. The display will take place over the bay. Cat Country 98.7 will be playing music that complements the firework display, so be sure to tune in. Make sure to bring folding chair and blankets to make the evening a pleasant and comfortable one.

Play It Safe

Fourth of July is a lot of fun. Everyone is in great spirits as they celebrate their nation’s independence. With that said, you still need to stay alert and play it safe. You have already taken one safety measure by not shooting the fireworks yourself. One good rule of thumb is to simply not bring your dog. Dogs can easily become upset over the noise. While you leave them at home, do not keep them in the backyard. That night, your puppy whether an inside or outside dog needs to be inside.

Either place that night will quickly get crowded, so plan to get there early. Play it safe by parking somewhere that you can easily get out. You do not want to be stuck in traffic once the show is over. If you have little ones, you may want to consider bringing noise-cancelling headphones.
