The 2024 Toyota bZ4X is a crossover SUV as compact as the RAV4. But it has a wheelbase similar to the Land Cruiser, so it offers a spacious cabin for your comfort. It’s not just about space, though. Toyota offers two variants of the 2024 bZ4X: the XLE and the Limited. Buyers can choose between two drive layouts: front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The 2024 Toyota bZ4X features a dual-voltage charging cable, one year of complimentary charging at EVgo stations nationwide, and new charge information in the multi-information display.
Toyota gave the 2024 bZ4X a battery-electric-vehicle-dedicated platform with a long wheelbase for more front/rear legroom and lots of elbow room for all five passengers.
The XLE gets Softex®/Fabric-trimmed black upholstery, while the Limited grade has Softex® with black or light gray trim. All front seats have bolsters for the torso and seat bottom to prevent unnecessary body movement during sporty driving maneuvers.
For a truly luxurious and peaceful ride, all models of the 2024 Toyota bZ4X are equipped with soundproofing glass and wind-noise reduction features. The 2024 Toyota bZ4X is one of the first models from the Japanese automaker to use the hammerhead design. It combines slim daytime running lamps with the hood to give the façade a sleek look and aerodynamic shape. The rear of the bZ4X sports a trapezoidal interlocked design that seamlessly connects the taillights, tailgate, and bumper.
The entry-level XLE grade has 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/60R18 all-season tires and a tire mobility kit replacing the typical spare tire of internal combustion engine models. The top-of-the-line Limited grade has 20-inch multi-spoke, machine-finished alloy wheels with 235/50R20 all-season tires and a tire mobility kit.

The 2024 Toyota bZ4X has one of the most advanced powertrains in the industry. This compact crossover SUV has a permanent magnet synchronous motor that gets power from a lithium-ion battery. Motor and battery size are grade-dependent, and that will also determine the vehicle’s range.
The XLE grade has a 1×1 XM AC permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates 201 horsepower from its 71.4 kWh, 355-volt lithium-ion battery. Its estimated range is between 242 and 252 miles.
The Limited grade uses a 2×1 YM C permanent magnet synchronous motor, producing 215 horsepower from a 72.8 kWh, 355-volt lithium-ion battery. Its estimated range is between 222 and 228 miles.
All 2024 Toyota bZ4X models have the J1772/CCS1 connector, which lets owners top up using Level 3 DC fast charging and Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging. The 7.6 kW onboard charger lets the bZ4X charge from low battery to full in about 9.5 hours and gives it approximately 20 miles of range per hour of charge.
