There are six standard trim levels to choose from along with four hybrid trims. With so many options, how do you know which is right for you?

LE & LE Hybrid
Starting off the 2020 Toyota RAV4 lineup is the LE trim, which is also available as a hybrid.
This trim comes with a 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine that churns out 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. If you combine it with the multi-electric motor assist, you get 219 combined system net horsepower along with an EPA-estimated 41 city/38 highway MPG.*
With that kind of fuel economy, you’ll no doubt want to spend all day on the road. With Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0, a suite of driver-assisting technologies, you can have peace of mind knowing you’ll be protected at every turn.
XLE & XLE Hybrid
Next up is the 2020 RAV4 XLE trim, which is available as a hybrid too. It comes with the same performance specs as the previously mentioned trims, so you get a smooth and efficient ride to enjoy for hours on end.
However, these trims also come with a dual-zone automatic climate control system. If you want to warm up while your co-pilot wants to cool down, you can set individual temperature levels so that you’re both comfortable.
Add on the 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and 4-way adjustable front passenger’s seat, and you’ll both be happy on any trip, no matter the length of it.
The Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium lives up to its name with its list of standard offerings.
This trim comes with SofTex®-trimmed seating that looks nice and is soft to the touch. Plus, if you spill anything, you can clean it up quickly with this upholstery. You can also get heated front seats as part of an options package to stay warm on chilly mornings.
The steering wheel is wrapped in leather, which feels good under your skin. Add on the available heating feature, and you can quickly soothe your hands after a long day at work or running errands.
Just like the name implies, the Toyota RAV4 Adventure is ready for just that. The previously mentioned trim levels came standard in Front-Wheel Drive but were available in All-Wheel Drive. However, this trim breaks from the norm and puts maximum grip standard.
The Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive (TV-AWD) system comes with Rear Driveline Disconnect. When the road gets slick, up to 50 percent of power is sent to the wheels that need it the most to keep you on your intended path. When the extra grip isn’t needed, Rear Driveline Disconnect will stop sending that power in order to boost fuel efficiency.
You’ll also find Multi-terrain Select in this trim. With the MUD & SAND, ROCK & DIRT, SNOW, and NORMAL modes, your SUV has the capacity to take on any terrain with ease.
Similar to the Adventure, the TRD Off-Road is built to venture off the beaten path. It comes standard with the TV-AWD system and has Multi-terrain Select to help you take on mud, sand, and other environments.
Also like the Adventure trim, this RAV4 trim has an Audio Plus infotainment system. Plug in your smartphone to activate Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ and watch as your favorite mobile apps appear on the 8-inch touchscreen.
With a 3-month All Access trial to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, you’ll have plenty of ways to stay entertained throughout your commutes.
Then, there’s the XSE Hybrid trim in the 2020 RAV4. Not only does it achieve an EPA-estimated 41 city/38 highway MPG, but it also comes standard in Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive.* As such, you can get home in inclement weather without fear of running out of fuel.
Furthermore, this trim comes in a cool blue-accented interior with blue stitching on the dash, door, and seats. The storage trays give off a blue ambient lighting—fashion and function combine effortlessly in this automobile.
Limited & Limited Hybrid
Finally, there’s the Limited trim and its hybrid counterpart. It comes with several driving modes, including SPORT and ECO. The hybrid version then has TRAIL and EV modes to help keep you going farther for longer.
These trims offer heated/ventilated front seats along with heated rear outboard seats and a heated steering wheel. You can remain comfortable during your drives, any time of the year.
Additionally, you’ll now find a Premium Audio infotainment system with Dynamic Navigation. Use voice command to quickly pull up directions and get from Point A to Point B in no time at all.
